The anchor of Guangzhou's bag district around Sanyuanli — floors range from budget to near-luxury quality; the surrounding Guihuagang blocks hold hundreds more workshops. Buyers: wholesalers, brands and e-commerce sellers.

Zhanxi Road Shoe Wholesale Cluster
Several connected wholesale towers beside the railway station form China's best-known shoe export hub — many stalls front factories in Huadu and Dongguan. Buyers: importers, chain retailers, e-commerce.

Centuries-old jade streets beside Liwan Plaza's floors of beads and fashion jewellery — from collector jade to container-lot costume pieces. Buyers: jewellers, designers, e-commerce sellers.

The world's largest small-commodities market — a city-sized complex where a walk down one aisle is a product category. Buyers from every continent; low per-booth MOQs make mixed-container sourcing its speciality.

Huaqiangbei Electronics Markets
The world's densest electronics bazaar — a square kilometre where a prototype can be sourced, assembled and improved in a week. Buyers: hardware startups, repair trades, importers, e-commerce.

Shanghai South Bund Fabric Market
Shanghai's best-known fabric hall — three floors where visitors order tailored suits in days and trade buyers source dress fabrics by the bolt. Buyers: tailors, boutique brands, private buyers.

Beijing & Relocated Hebei Clusters
Beijing's famous wholesale halls (Dongwuyuan, Dahongmen) were relocated out of the city from 2015–2017; the trade now sits in purpose-built Hebei towns an hour away. Buyers heading 'to Beijing' for wholesale should actually plan for Baigou or Yongqing.

A dedicated silk street in the historic heart of China's silk trade — from factory-grade bolts to finished gift lines. Buyers: boutique importers, gift trade, hotels and spas.

Hundreds of small showrooms along one road — Hong Kong's boutique buyers restock here weekly, mixing local design with Guangdong production. Buyers: boutiques, online sellers, regional retailers.
